How to vet any program in three questions
First: who recognizes it? Ask the institution you hope to serve which training they accept, before you pay anyone. Second: who teaches it? Practitioners with verifiable service records, or a website with stock photos? Third: what does it require of you? Programs with no screening, no supervised component, and no ongoing accountability are selling paper. The certificate that impresses an agency is the one attached to a person who was formed by earning it.
