Police Officer Prayer Cards

Four printable prayer cards for officers, their families, and roll call.

Some officers keep a prayer on a card in a wallet, a visor, or a locker. These four cards are written for the moments that ask for one: the start of a shift, roll call, the wait at home, and the day a department loses one of its own. Print them for yourself, for the officer you love, or for a whole briefing room.

Why a card

A prayer that lives on a website is easy to forget by the time the shift starts. A card in a pocket is there when it is needed. The prayers are written to be prayed honestly by people of different traditions, and each closes simply. The reflections behind them are in A Police Officer's Prayer.

Common questions

Can I print these cards for my whole department or church?
Yes. Print as many as you need for your own agency, congregation, or family. Please do not sell them or republish them as your own product.
Are these prayers only for Christian officers?
They are written in a way that officers of many traditions can pray honestly, and each closes simply. No officer should ever feel pressured to pray; a chaplain's care is for everyone, whether or not they pray.
